Referencing starts from £6.40 and if you find a better price for any of the reference checks below, we will beat that price by 15%*. You will probably find that these prices are already 15% lower than the competitors!

There is no contract, no hidden charges, and you have the complete flexibility to order only the checks you require, when you need them. We will return all non-criminal record results to you by 9am the following morning.

All checks/reports are compliant with BS7858:2012 Security Checks.

BACKGROUND CHECKS

Employee Credit Checks enable employers to assess a candidate’s financial background and help to mitigate against risks posed to their business, by individuals under financial stress.

The Employee Credit Check returns information from the employee’s credit report, including court and insolvency data, such as Court Judgments, edited Electoral Roll information and a credit score. Linked addresses and alias names are automatically searched even if they are not disclosed by the candidate.

We use data from all of the major Credit Reference Agencies, and for ease of reference, use the same Credit Score Scale as Experian.

Checking a candidate’s identity is fundamental to the employment screening process as it forms the basis for all other checks.

Our Identity Check works by comparing your candidate’s name, address and date of birth against a wide range of reference data sources to confirm the identity exists.

A Sanctions Check enables organisations to comply with regulations such as Anti-Money Laundering by checking over 1500 enforcement databases and watch lists globally.

Our Sanctions Check uses a market leading compliance system which checks databases of sanctioned, restricted, prohibited, and high-risk individuals, such as known money launderers, fraudsters and terrorists issued by financial regulators, government agencies and law enforcement bodies. Searches are also made against lists of Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs).

Our Passport Check enables employers to verify the authenticity of passports, ID cards, visas and residence permits provided by candidates as proof of identity.

The check uses a state of the art system which performs automated checks on the machine readable zone (MRZ) and compares the features of your candidate’s document to a database of identity documents issued by over 200 countries, to determine whether the document provided is genuine or a forgery.

The Adverse Media Check enables employers to quickly search a vast array of media sources for articles linking their candidate to serious crime such as fraud, terrorism and drug trafficking.

The Adverse Media Check utilises a state of the art system, alongside desktop specialists, highlighting possible incidents in your candidate’s past which pose reputational risk to your organisation.

A Directorship Check allows employers to quickly assess possible risks and identify possible ‘conflict of interest’ scenarios when appointing directors and senior management.

The search lists all current and previous directorship and company secretary appointments held by your candidate and signifies if the candidate is currently disqualified from being a director.

A Basic Criminal Record Check enables employers to reduce their risk exposure by disclosing if a candidate has current criminal convictions.

During a Basic Criminal Record Check (also known as a Basic Disclosure) the Police National Computer is searched to return details of unspent convictions. Basic Disclosures are not job role specific so can be undertaken for any employee/position.
